This weekend (October 29th and 30th) is commitment weekend for our annual Catholic Services Appeal.
We are so grateful for the support of our parishioners each year through CSA. The funds raised through CSA support the many ministries of the Diocese of Austin and Bishop Joe Vasquez. This is my Body. This is my Blood is the theme Bishop Vasquez chose for this year's CSA. It is both timely and timeless. Catholics around the world pray these words at Mass, just as we do. Donate: Your gifts make a real difference in the lives of many.
Your gift to the Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) supports men discerning vocations to the priesthood and diaconate, priests currently serving and retired priests. Your gift helps to sustain Catholic schools, religious education, ministerial formation and initiatives for life, peace and justice. Your donations are carefully spent; it is money for God’s work, and we use it accordingly. Your contributions are deeply appreciated, very much needed and make a real difference in the lives of many.
May each of us prayerfully consider how to share our blessings in gratitude to God for all he has given us. Ways to give to the CSA include cash, check, money order, credit or debit card, electronic fund transfer from bank accounts, stock, and IRA distribution.

FAQHow will the Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) funds be used?
Funds will be used to support only those diocesan programs and ministries outlined in the case for support. No funds will be distributed to outside organizations or used for political purposes. 100% of your gift goes to these ministries and will not be used for legal fees, judgments, or settlements.
Who will be asked to support the CSA?
All Catholic households in the Diocese of Austin will be asked for prayerful consideration of a gift to the CSA.
How can a donor become a member of the Good Shepherd Society?
There are seven different circles of participation with benefits associated with each level. A donor can become a member with an annual gift to the CSA of $500 or more.
To whom should a check be made payable?
Checks should be made payable to “Catholic Services Appeal.”
How are subsequent payments made?
A donor will receive a monthly statement from the diocese for remaining pledge payments unless the payment is an automatic deduction from a credit or debit card or an electronic bank transfer.
Can a donor make a gift through electronic giving?
Yes. A donor can make an electronic gift through a credit or debit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Payments through electronic funds transfer from bank accounts are also accepted.
Can a donor go online to make a pledge to the CSA?
Yes. For secure giving, a donor can go to www.austindiocese.org/csa to make an online gift.
Can a donor make an ongoing gift?
Yes. A donor can go to www.austindiocese.org/csa and select the amount that fits into their budget. The donor’s gift will recur monthly until they ask us to stop. Gifts of perpetuity allow the diocese to fund ministries year-round.
Can Stock, IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), Family Foundation, or Charitable Gift Fund gifts be made to the Diocese of Austin?
