Rockyvine 2010
This summer we will be taking Middle School teens to RockyvineSummer Camp in July 11-17, so please read below for the information that was supplied for last year's trip. We will be taking our Middle School youth to Rockyvine in Dunstow, Missouri.EDGE Rockyvine:
IMPORTANT MEETING: Thursday, July 8th at 7pm in the St. Timothy Room to turn in forms and go over trip.
Departure: Meeting the in the church parking lot on July 11 at 8pm. Like Life Teen, boarding the bus starts at 8:30pm and we'll be heading out at 9pm.
Clothing: There will also be two messy days, and daily Mass, so dress accordingly!
Return: We will come back around 12:30am - 1:00am. If your teen brings a phone, we will be calling parents when we are about 30 minutes out from the church.

What to Bring to Camp:
Clothes:
2 sets of clothes that can get really dirty/messy
Clothes that are comfortable and appropriate for outdoors
Modest: no strappy tank tops, no short shorts, no low-rise shorts/jeans
Sleepwear
Toiletries, Towels, Linens and Pillow (sleeping bag is probably too bulky)
2 pairs of shoes (at least one pair closed-toe)
Money (for snacks, the store, and meals while on the bus)
Bug Repellant and Sunscreen
Rosary, Bible, Journal
Ziploc/trash bags for dirty clothes (no laundry on site)
What not to bring to camp:
Any electronics ought to be kept in the rooms if brought. It is encouraged that no electronics are brought to camp and anything that you bring are your responsibility, not the youth minister's, chaperones, or the camp's.
No drugs, alcohol, tobacco products
No weapons of any kind, including pocket knives
No pranking stuff of any kind
No lighters
What is Rockyvine?
Rockyvine offers a balance of unlimited activity and vital tranquility. From mud pits to messy field Olympics, from flag football to ultimate Frisbee, the opportunities for fun are endless. Adventure, team-building, and outdoor activities are experienced on the ropes course, hiking trails, game field, and indoor gym. Reflection and quiet time can easily be found outdoors at the Stations of the Cross, inside their chapel, or walking through the woods while praying the rosary.Who should attend?
St. John Neumann is attending a Middle School ‘EDGE’ camp week at Rockyvine. All students who will be in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade next year in the 2010-2011 school year are invited to attend.Cost?
