Welcome to St. John Neumann
The parish of St. John Neumann is a Catholic community of over 2,200 families located in the heart of Westlake at 5455 Bee Cave Road in Austin, Texas. We have a very active parish, including ongoing parish faith formation programs for children and adults, as well as a vibrant youth ministry program. Feel free to check our staff page if you aren't sure whom to contact about a particular question. Click here for our calendar of events. Our weekly bulletin is published online. We invite you to share liturgy with us at any time during the week at one of our masses. We value your input, so let us know what information you would like to see on YOUR website. Feel free to contact the webmaster at info@sjnaustin.org or 512-328-3220 at the parish office. Thanks!
We are currently in the midst of a capital campaign, Building on the Cornerstone of Christ, to build a new church. To find out more about the project, visit the capital campaign site.

Welcome our New Youth Minister
Michael Gormley, the youngest of three boys, left his Texas home to get his B.A. in Philosophy and Theology in 2001 at Franciscan University of Steubenville. In the Summer of 2005 he started working as a full time youth minister in his home parish of St. Anthony of Padua in The Woodlands, Texas, which he would do for four years. Ministry opportunities local, national and even in China presented themselves, which stirred his desire for the re-evangelization of the Church. In the Spring of 2009 Michael returned to Franciscan with his fiance, Shannon Rothkopf, to finish their M.A. degrees in Theology and Christian Ministry. Michael Gormley's greatest desire for the youth is to experience the power of the Holy Spirit bringing communion with God and in the Catholic Church. Congratulations to Sally Robb who has been appointed the new Pastoral Associate for Family Faith Formation.

Progress Reports on our New Church
Great strides have been made in recent months towards building our new church. Father Bud, along with the Building Committee, our Project Manager, and our architects, will from time to time present the parish with details on our progress to date and our timeline moving forward (update archives available online).Parish Programs Available on CD
Many of our programs (Women's Retreat, Lenten Renewal) are available to purchase as gifts to be mailed to your friends and family. You can order online.
Eucharistic Adorers Needed
We are in need of adorers to commit to one-hour shifts every week while the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, so that this beautiful gift can be sustained at our parish. Conflicts are easily handled. If you’d like to sign up for a weekly one-hour time-slot, or as a substitute, please contact Ann Vay or click here for more information and to sign up online.
